Overview

“Community Offerings” are offerings published by third parties or Collibra within the Collibra Marketplace community.  Community Offerings are free and made available “as is” by Collibra.  Your master commercial agreement with Collibra for the Collibra Service DOES NOT apply to your use of the Community Offerings (including any warranties, support services and service levels referenced therein).   Your use of Community Offerings is subject to the Collibra Marketplace License Agreement, as may be modified from time to time by Collibra.  Collibra encourages users to seek assistance for Community Offerings from peers and other Data Citizens via the Collibra Community platform.

The Log Proxy is a utility to mirror the Collibra log files to another location.  This is useful when a customer has their DGC instance in the cloud.  The Log Proxy will synchronize the Collibra log files every 30 seconds to a local directory.  The local directory can then be monitored by the customers log monitoring  software, such as Splunk.
Note that starting from version 1.4 the DGC logfiles are fetched from the environment rather than the Console. Additionally, security was tightened up with extra (optional) parameters so when upgrading from a previous version you will have to review your parameters. Please check the included readme file for more details.

Release Notes

This release focuses on fetching the DGC Logfiles from the environment directly rather than from the Console. As of release 2026.06 these logs will only be available this way so please upgrade to this version of LogProxy to keep receiving the DGC log files locally. Note that the other logs are still fetched from the Console.
Additionally there are some minor improvements and the security got tightened by changing some defaults and introducing a new (optional) parameter.
