This DB2 JDBC driver is provided by IBM and can be used in Collibra Catalog.
We certified this driver in Collibra Catalog using the version 4.26.14, but our product allows all versions as from IBM DB2 8.1 onwards on Linux, Unix and Windows (LUW) OS. You need to have an IBM account in order to be able to download the driver.
To register the IBM-provided sources, use the section ‘Collibra provided drivers’ in Collibra Catalog. Leveraging this driver, Collibra Catalog will be able to register database information and extract the structure of the source into its schemas, tables and columns.
Using this driver to ingest and profile metadata on the Collibra Platform is payable and covered by a license.
Collibra JDBC drivers can retrieve the following database components:
- Primary keys
- Foreign keys
The driver has been certified with the username/password authentication scheme, on Linux, Unix and Windows (LUW) OS only, for the following:
- Ingestion of technical metadata from the source.
- Profiling of the registered data source and calculating the statistics that describe the data.
- Collibra Platform 5.7
- DB2 8.1+
- Collibra Catalog
- Metadata Connector
- IBM DB2
No previous versions of this listing is available.
Support is provided for the template as downloaded from the Marketplace, without changes to the way it works. These drivers are designed to only work with Collibra Catalog and cannot be used for other purposes.
You require a license to download and use JDBC drivers. Please contact your sales representative or Customer Advisory Manager for more information.
The license fee for JDBC drivers depends on the number of Connected Systems. This can be any data source which you register on Collibra Platform using any certified JDBC driver available on Collibra Marketplace.
This license fee covers metadata ingestion and basic profiling, regardless of volume and amount of tables or columns.
