Overview
As consumers of reports, metrics and datasets we need to be able to trust what we are using. Oftentimes we are looking at a report and wondering is this using the correct data? Did someone look at it to verify? How are we calculating this KPI mentioned in the report? Then there are other situations where we wonder why we even created this report? Most of the time, the person viewing a report is different from the person who is developing a report, who is different from the person defining the KPI, and still, someone else is building the data pipeline. We were able to simplify the end-user experience by involving the right person at the right time for the right task.

Please note that this package does not include drivers to connect to and register data sources. You will need your own Collibra-provided certified JDBC driver for the data source.

v0.9.1 of the Trusted Business Reporting (TBR) package.
The “Certify Report” workflow packaged with this solution includes changes such as:
- A new back button, and checkboxes to select assets to certify.
- New color scheme for the step progress bar in the workflow task notifications, making it easier to tell where you are in the process.
- The button naming in the “No Data attributes Found” user task is now consistent with the rest of the steps in the process.
- Added wording to describe what the workflow is doing during the Data Quality checks step.
- A message will now show if a Data attribute isn’t related to a Column.
- A back button has been added to the “Confirm Data Quality” step of the workflow.

This minor update eliminates a situation some users might experience importing the .cma file if there is a conflict between the enablement of Asset Type ratings in the .cma file and the existing Collibra instance.

The “Packaged Solution for Trusted Business Reporting” is a very good base to build trust for your reports and is easily applicable and extensible for other BI systems or Business Oriented Data Assets. It is complementary to articulation scores and validation rules.
