Overview

“Community Offerings” are offerings published by third parties or Collibra within the Collibra Marketplace community.  Community Offerings are free and made available “as is” by Collibra.  Your master commercial agreement with Collibra for the Collibra Service DOES NOT apply to your use of the Community Offerings (including any warranties, support services and service levels referenced therein).   Your use of Community Offerings is subject to the Collibra Marketplace License Agreement, as may be modified from time to time by Collibra.  Collibra encourages users to seek assistance for Community Offerings from peers and other Data Citizens via the Collibra Community platform.

This Collibra workflow generates a YAML file that defines an OSI Semantic Model. The configuration is generated based on a Data Product Port. The workflow automatically collects relevant metadata required for the semantic model, including:

  • Tables

  • Columns

  • Data Attributes

  • Metrics

In addition to structural metadata, the workflow also analyzes relationships between tables, columns, and metrics and Business Terms or Acronyms defined in Collibra.

All collected information is structured into a YAML format compatible with the OSI Semantic Model specification.

The workflow also enriches the model with an AI context (ai_context), which aggregates governance and business metadata from Collibra. This context may include information such as:

  • Business terms and acronyms

  • Governance metadata

  • Data quality information

  • Additional technical and business metadata

This enriched context helps AI systems better understand the semantic meaning of the data and improves the quality of AI-driven queries, analysis, and reasoning.
